Plant medicines in Australia are accessed via the Special Access Scheme or Authorised Prescriber Scheme and are regulated by the TGA. MedWest Medical Dispensary understands the use of plant-based medicines may not be suitable for every patient nor do we advocate the use of unsuitable use of chronic off-label use of medications.
